January class sessions begin soon with the following course offerings:
Computer Fundamentals
This 90-minute class is an introductory course which provides participants with step-by-step instruction in basic computer usage. Participants acquire the computer skills necessary to operate in the Windows environment using the mouse and the keyboard. They become familiar with a broad range of computer functions, such as creating and copying files, and learn how to use the Windows programs such as - Word Pad, Paint, and the Calculator. This course requires 4 classroom instruction sessions.
Computers Are Fun
This one-hour course provides youth with step-by-step instruction in computer usage. Each lesson is presented within the context of enjoyable activities that also teach core life skills such as budgeting, valuing the community and job readiness. This course requires 4 classroom instruction sessions.
Using the Internet
This 90-minute class introduces participants to the vast world of the Internet. Participants acquire useful skill for effective email account management and Internet Search. They become familiar with online search and posting resumes in a job bank web site. Participants learn how to compress and decompress files, download programs from the Web. This course requires 4 classroom instruction sessions.

Geared for Spanish language learners, this 90-minute class is an introductory course which provides participants with step-by-step instruction in basic computer usage.
