Urban Tech, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) education corporation, was
founded in 1995 to provide access to personal computers and
information technology in under-served communities to address the
widening gap between the "information haves" and "information
have-nots". Urban Tech's primary focus is to promote learning, academic performance, and workforce preparation among disadvantaged young
people; and to provide adults with the resources necessary for long-term employability and economic security.
