Urban Tech, a not-for-profit 501(c)3 corporation, was founded in 1995. Our primary focus is to transfer educational tools to schools and community-based organizations nationwide for promoting essential life skills, academic performance, and workforce preparation. We accomplish our mission through two flagship programs, SeedTech® and the Youth Leadership Academy (YLA).
YLA is a research-based education program that resonates with students ages 10-18.
Through SeedTech®, Urban Tech has built hundreds of turn-key computer training centers nationwide and developed successful partnership models for increasing job readiness.
YLA's Proven Impact
A new study shows that students exposed to YLA perform better academically in their course work and demonstrate growth in pro-social behavior than students who don't use YLA.
